My Dream Kitchen

I believe that kitchen is the most exciting part of the house for almost every housewives including me (even for unmarried women). Housewives and kitchen are meant to be together and nothing can even make them apart. Even though they are engineers, lawyers, CEOs, or whatever profession they are holding at their office, back at home, they will be 'playing' with all the kitchen wares and kitchen stuffs to prepare meals for their loved ones (unless if their maid do all sort of things). Well for myself, I really enjoy cooking and I love to do kitchen-business whenever I have time. Because I believe one of the ways to win your family's heart is to make their stomach full isn't it? As a person who always luxuriating my time in the kitchen, I always dream of having all the latest and high-tech kitchen gadgets and tools. Below are some of my wish-list for my dream kitchen:

Digital scale and measuring cup
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

I do love to make cakes, desserts and cookies. It would be so much easier for me to measure the ingredients if I have this kind of measuring cup which can be used as a digital scale at the same time. Some of recipes that I'm referring to use grams for measurement of the ingredients. While some of them use milliliters. By having this tool, I don't have to scratch my head in order to convert the measurements.

Table triple-LED grill light
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

My family enjoy having an outdoor BBQ. Most of the time, we do it at night. It is quite troublesome to see whether the steaks are done when we are grilling in the dark. Someone needs to stand beside the grill and use flashlight to see whether it is cooked or not. By having this table triple-LED grill light, we don't have to worry about having a 'flash man' beside the grill. What make it more interesting is it has an adjustable arm that can be clamped onto the lid of the grill. So it can really shine the things that we are grilling.

iDevice iGrill
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

This is a bluetooth-enabled grill tool that act as a wireless cooking thermometer (can reach up until 200 feet range). This is so cool because we can monitor what's grilling without requiring us to stand beside the grill all the time (most importantly we can definitely avoid the smoky smell from sticking on our clothes) and of course, we can go and mingle around with our guest. All we need to do is just insert a probe into the steak that's sizzling on the grill and using a free app on our iOS device. This iGrill will let us know how much cooking time is left and alertsus when the optimal temp is reached.

Top brewer
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

Well, I'm not a die-hard coffee lover. But it's cool to have this application on my kitchen because my dad do loves coffee so much. This Top Brewer is a high-tech coffee brewing station that make use of bluetooth and iOS devices to make and keep track of what's brewing. It can brew four cups of coffee in one minute out of stainless steel faucet with just a few taps on your iPhone. Wasn't that great?

Voice activated coffee maker
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

This is another coffee maker technology. This is an automatic coffee maker that uses voice recognition device to make cups of coffee. All we have to do is press once and talk to set the brew time. Hurm, how I wish I am a coffee lover. I'm sure my dad will love to come to my house more often if I have this.

Kitchen Thermometer
(Source: http://mashable.com/)

This kitchen thermometer is very useful especially when we are frying meets or chickens. This device contains a probe which can monitor the temperature of foods while it's cooking and send the information back to us via iOS app. By using this, we can monitor the desired temperature of food that we are cooking and we can do something else while waiting for it to be cooked.

Touch stylish kitchen faucets
(Source: www.homedit.com)

This is my favorite part. It is a semi-automatic faucet which uses touch technology. I don't have to put so much strength to clean my hands (like the conventional faucet does). All it needs is just a gentle touch on the faucet neck, and there you go, the water is flowing out. Awesome!

Kitchen of the future
(Source: http://www.foodtechconnect.com/)

This is how I want my kitchen to be probably in 5 years time. It is a touchscreen cooktop technology that can allow us to look at the recipe and have a boiling pot to live side-by-side. The surface uses induction heating elements which only interact with metal. So, we can freely touch the cooktop, browsing for recipe and even updating our facebook while cooking. Super duper awesome!
